While it may appear like the menu is broken, it is actually doing what it is intended to do.<\/p>\n<p>The most common causes for this confusion come from one of these reasons:<br \/>\n1. The incorrect menu was selected. Categories have their own widget\/block as pages have their own widget\/block.<br \/>\n2. \u201cDisplay the highest level parent page\u201d or \u201cDisplay the highest level parent category\u201d is not checked.<br \/>\n3. The Pages menu is currently not being viewed on a page.<br \/>\n4. The Categories menu is not currently being view on a category.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20change%20the%20styling%20of%20the%20current%20page%3F\">\n<h3>How do I change the styling of the current page?<\/h3>\n<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p>You may add CSS to your theme\u2019s style.css to change the way the menu looks.<\/p>\n<p>For example the following CSS would:<br \/>\n1. As soon as you activate it, it renders your menu items invisible.
